Future Frontiers

Future Frontiers creates media, stories, and immersive experiences that offer a window into a flourishing future. Up until COVID-19, Future Frontiers hosted a yearly immersive, narrative-driven event, composed of curated speakers and experiences that could offer insight into the future of human flourishment. Example topics included:

  • Transformative Entertainment

  • Time Travel

  • Space Colonization

  • Eco-Innovation

  • Startup Cities

  • Psychedelic Therapy

  • Biohacking

  • Vendor Management

  • Email Marketing

  • Graphic Design

  • Copywriting

Project Background:

I have had the pleasure to work with Future Frontiers for a number of years, starting in 2016, when they were known as Voice & Exit. Each time, I have brought a different skill set to the team. Initially, I worked as a marketing associate, assisting with social media marketing, blogging, vendor management, and media relations.

In 2019, my energy was focused on email marketing for not only the upcoming event but in developing a regular newsletter to be harnessed year-round for lifecycle marketing. I developed an auto-drip campaign to welcome to audience members and warm them up to the complicated topics within the Future Frontiers paradigm, harnessing the Theta persona.

Creative Process:

As a narrative-driven, immersive event, Future Frontiers needed a spokesperson from the future to bring back the knowledge of how to achieve peak human flourishment. Theta was developed as this persona from the future, by the founders. Upon hearing their personification of Theta, I knew she had to be the voice for the newsletters. I expanded on her persona and the first email in the Future Frontiers welcome auto-drip, was Theta introducing herself. This came full circle when we all got the opportunity to meet Theta in hologram form at the 2019 event.

Results:

  • Part of team effort which resulted in a sold-out event in 2019

“Caitlin has been a great contributor to the Future Frontiers promotion team. She has offered us marketing, social media, and copywriting assistance, which has borne a lot of fruit..”
